Assinatura de contrato de aliança estratégia

MOVIDA PARTICIPAÇÕES S.A. (“Companhia”), sociedade anônima de capital aberto, vem informar aos seus acionistas e ao mercado em geral que hoje, 09 de agosto de 2018, a subsidiária integral da Companhia Movida Locação de Veículos S.A. (“Movida”) assinou um contrato de aliança estratégia com a E-Moving, startup de locação e comercialização de bicicletas elétricas.

Esta é mais uma inovação da Movida, que apoia startups de soluções criativas e as incentiva também através do “Movida Labs” – plataforma que ajuda a desenvolver novos negócios em diversas frentes. A Movida se torna agora a única locadora do país que oferece múltiplas soluções para mobilidade urbana, unindo carro, trikke e aluguel de bicicletas elétricas.

Os negócios foram segmentados com o lançamento da marca “I-move”, que funcionará como guarda-chuva para estes modais e para as próximas novidades, também trazendo o mote de mais saúde e menos poluição. O leque de possibilidades foi expandido para o cliente Movida, que poderá interagir com a cidade de maneira simbiótica e sustentável.

O contrato de R$1,0 milhão prevê apoio ao desenvolvimento do negócio e investimento para expansão com prazo de 5 anos. A Movida passa a ter uma opção de se tornar sócia ao final do período.

Fundada em 2015, a E-moving atua em São Paulo, possui cerca de 400 bicicletas elétricas e é a maior do país.

Strategic alliance agreement

MOVIDA PARTICIPAÇÕES S.A. (“Company”), a publicly-held company, hereby announces to its shareholders and the market in general that today, August 09, 2018, its wholly-owned subsidiary Movida Locação de Veículos S.A. (“Movida”) executed a strategic alliance agreement with E-Moving, a start-up company offering rentals of electric bicycles.

This is one more innovation of Movida, supporting startups that offer creative solutions and incentivizing them through “Movida Labs” – platform that helps new business evolve on several fronts. Movida is currently the only car rental company in Brazil offering multiple solutions for urban mobility, including car rental, trikkes and now electric bicycles.

The businesses were segmented with the launching of the “I-move” brand, which will serve as an umbrella structure for these modalities, and for new innovations to come, also introducing the “more health and less pollution” motto. The range of possibilities for Movida’s clients has been expanded, allowing them to interact with the city in a symbiotic and sustainable way.

The agreement totals R$1.0 million and foresees providing support for the development of the business and expansion investments for a 5 years period. Movida has an option to become a shareholder of the company at the end of the agreement.

E-moving was founded in 2015 and currently has approximately 400 electric bicycles. The company is located in the city of São Paulo as is the largest player of this segment in Brazil.
