Méliuz announces new Executive Officers

Méliuz S.A. (B3:CASH3) (“Méliuz” or “Company”), in continuation of the Material Fact disclosed to the market on March 15, 2023, informs its shareholders and the market in general that its Board of Directors deliberated and approved, in a meeting held today, the election of Mr. Marcio Loures Penna, as Investor Relations Officer, and Ms. Michelle Meirelles, as Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Marcio Loures Penna holds a degree in Business Administration and a Masters in Finance and Management from Neoma Business School, held in 2016/2017, in Paris, France. Mr. Marcio has solid experience in the financial and capital markets area, having been ahead of Méliuz’s Investor Relations area since June 2021. He has worked for the last 15 years in renowned companies in the market, the last time at Petrobras, between 2019 and 2021, as Advisor to the President in the areas of Investor Relations, ESG and Strategy. Between 2017 and 2019, he served as Investor Relations and ESG manager at Light S.A., and between 2007 and 2016, he served at Vale S.A. as an FP&A and Investor Relations analyst. Mr. Marcio also has executive courses at the Chicago Booth School of Business, in Decision Making & Capital Management in the Firm; Creating an Entrepreneurial Culture & Leadership Training; and Financial Economics & Strategy Decision.

Mrs. Michelle Meirelles holds a degree in Accounting from the Federal University of Minas Gerais and an MBA in Tax Law from FGV with an extension from Ohio University, in the United States. Mrs. Michelle has more than 15 years of experience in the financial area and is currently responsible for the Accounting/Tax area at Méliuz, where she has been working since February 2021. Between 2019 and 2021, she served as Controller at Laborum, structuring the financial area of several entities in Brazil, such as Sociedade São Vicente de Paulo and Santa Casa. Between 2016 and 2019, she was responsible for the Technical Accounting area for Latin America at Stellantis and, between 2013 and 2016, she worked at FCA UK, in London, where she worked on the structuring of the holding company after the merger between Fiat and Chrysler. Between 2011 and 2014, she worked at Fiat do Brasil, as an Accounting Compliance Analyst and, between 2008 and 2010, was responsible for the Accounting Support area at Thomson Reuters.
